I have finally worked up the courage to make a bead embroidered necklace and the first thing is to come up with a shape. And here it is. It is huge, I know but if your gonna do it do it properly :)
Betty Stephan can make those HUGE embroided necklesses, so I can´t see any reason to why You can´t do them! And I think the shape you show is much much nicer then I´ve ever seen before :p So go on with it!
Thank you Marsha, if I start it it will be finished, that I know. I have a couple of very pale amethysts I would like to use but I would love to make more of it... My mind is still trying to design the collar and I know from experience that it is best to let it work like that :)

Thanks Eva, But i am kind of scared, it is very big after the A4 was up I used 14 cm more
It looks to me like your structural 3d work is extraordinary! I'm sure you could manage the collar... if you want to! :o)

I love the shape of the collar can't wait to see how you finish it out. The pale amethysts sound like a good start.
I'm cheering you on! I think it will be beautiful - keep us posted with photos and updates as you progress! Good luck!
I think it's totally doable. I can't wait to see the colors and textures. And fringe. To me, such a shape craves fringe. It will be beautiful!
But I am bad with fringe, to much or to little, never ever enough...
